Bio
Lbby Coulton is principal and owner of Coulton Communications where she helps people, organizations and businesses through opportunities, change, crisis and/or challenges by leveraging strategic communications to help her clients achieve their goals and objectives.
She has worked in public relations, marketing and project management for more than twenty-five years and has held leadership positions at some of Cincinnati’s most venerable institutions including the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati Enquirer/Gannett Media, Cincinnati Bell, the City of Cincinnati and the Procter & Gamble Company. She’s also worked with numerous other clients including Cintas, American Greetings, Yum! Brands, Comair, Convergys, OSU Medical Center, The Banks development, Cincinnati USA Chamber of Commerce and the Cincinnati Business Committee.
She started her career as press secretary for Cincinnati’s first publicly-elected female mayor, Roxanne Qualls and most recently led executive communications for P&G’s CIO, their Chief Sales Officer, President of their largest market – North America - and Gender Equality Champion. She specializes in issues and reputation management, crisis preparedness and communications, the intersection of public and private efforts and needs, helping people, organizations and businesses through high-stakes and often potentially high-profile situations and leaders who live a professional life in a public manner – either by choice or by circumstance.
She lives in downtown Cincinnati and has two adult sons. Her undergraduate degree in political science is from Miami University and her graduate degree in journalism is from The Ohio State University. She enjoys hiking, skiing, going to concerts, exploring the US National Parks, euchre, and is a fan of Cincinnati’s MLS, MLB and NLF teams and Buckeye and Bearcat football.
